Rules of firearm safety
- Treat every firearm as loaded. Always, even when you know it is not.
- Never point it at anything you are not willing to destroy. Watch the muzzle.
- Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target and you have decided to shoot.
- Know your target and what is beyond it. Be sure of what you are shooting at and what is behind it.

Instructor
I'm Yasuke, a USCCA-certified instructor and the founder of Ancestors Shade Academy. I teach from Stockbridge, Georgia.
The academy is named for the people who came before us and is part of the Black Powder brand, home of the Black Powder Podcast.
My job is simple: make you harder to harm and better prepared to do the right thing under stress. Habits first, hardware second.
Philosophy
